In a shocking incident in Auraiya district, Uttar Pradesh, a 25-year-old man, Dilip Yadav, was tragically murdered shortly after his marriage. Allegedly, his wife, Pragati Yadav, and her lover, Anurag alias Manoj, conspired to hire a contract killer named Ramji Chaudhary, paying him Rs 2 lakh for the act. All three suspects have been arrested.
The case unfolded when local authorities received reports of an injured man found in a field on March 19. Dilip Yadav was initially treated at a community health centre before being transferred to hospitals in Saifai, Gwalior, and Agra. His condition deteriorated, leading to hospitalization in Auraiya, where he succumbed on the night of March 21.
According to Sahar SHO Pankaj Mishra, evidence from CCTV footage was crucial in identifying and apprehending the suspects. Superintendent of Police (Auraiya) Abijith R Shankar confirmed the details of the conspiracy, emphasizing the motive behind the heinous crime.
