During an ongoing training session at the hospital led by external doctors, trainees were unaware of the shooting until they heard unusual noises and found Raj wounded. One trainee remarked, “We were giggling and having fun when we got conscious of the noise… We found ma’am (Surabhi) lying in a pool of blood.” It has been reported that the gunshots were not audible to anyone in the vicinity.

Authorities, including a police team, a forensic unit, and a dog squad, have been deployed to the scene to conduct thorough inquiries.
