He had relocated to South Africa twelve years ago in pursuit of better employment opportunities, eventually establishing his own business.
Reports indicate that Kamrul was attacked by two assailants while closing his shop around 9:00 PM. They confronted him with a firearm, demanding cash and valuables. According to Kamrul’s younger brother, Kamruzzaman, the robbers suspected that additional money was hidden in Kamrul’s vehicle parked nearby and forced him to his car. An altercation ensued, during which one of the perpetrators shot Kamrul in the chest, resulting in his immediate death.
