In the context of the talks, Ukraine indicated a willingness to implement a ceasefire lasting 30 days if Russia reciprocates. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy specified that this ceasefire would encompass all military actions across the front line.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the United States plans to formally propose the 30-day ceasefire to Russia, expressing hope that Russia would comply with this proposal.
